Quarterly Activities Report – 30 June 2022
Tesoro Gold Limited (ASX:TSO, OTCQB:TSORF) (Tesoro or the Company) is pleased to provide the
following activities report that outlines progress achieved during the June 2022 Quarter.
HIGHLIGHTS
~$5.4 million capital raising (before costs) complete to fund the continued exploration and
development of the El Zorro Gold Project, Chile.
Updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) completed, total ounces increased by +66% to 1.1Moz for
the Ternera Gold Deposit
•
Mineral Resource gold grade increased by +36% to 1.12g/t Au; and
•
Indicated Resources increased by +570% to 503koz at 1.18g/t Au.
Multiple high grade gold zones have been defined at Ternera demonstrating the potential of Ternera
being suited to high-grade open pit mining scenarios.
El Zorro confirmed as a New Chilean Gold District by surface mapping and sampling identifying
gold bearing intrusions over a prospective strike length of 33km.
El Zorro Gold Project, Chile
Mineral Resource Estimate
During the June quarter, as announced on 23 May 2022, Tesoro reported a significant Mineral Resource
Estimate (MRE) update for the Ternera Gold Deposit (Ternera) at the Company’s El Zorro Gold Project (El
Zorro), Chile.
Multiple continuous higher-grade gold zones were defined, resulting in a Mineral Resource Estimate of
715koz at 2.31g/t using 1g/t Au cut-off. This demonstrates that Ternera has the potential for high-grade open
pit mining. The upgraded results indicate a +570% increase in Indicated Resources which now stands at
503koz’s at 1.18g/t Au. Delineation of the updated MRE has been completed in a highly effective and
capital efficient manner with a low discovery cost of <AU$21/oz (US$<15/oz), well below the global average
of AU$65/oz (US$45/oz) for greenfields discoveries.
A detailed geological reinterpretation and 3D modelling program of Ternera was undertaken, resulting in a
substantial improvement in gold grade and continuity throughout the deposit (See Figure 1). Tesoro has
identified significant extensions to Ternera, both along strike and high-grade zones at depth, shown by Figure
1. These areas represent immediate targets for further resource expansion at Ternera. The Company intends
to complete further drilling to continue to increase Mineral Resources.

The updated MRE for the Ternera Gold deposit now stands at 1.1 million ounces at a grade of 1.12g/t Au
using a 0.3g/t Au cut-off grade with 46% of the MRE being classified as Indicated, refer Table 1.

The reported resource has been constrained to a AU$2,500 (US$1800) per ounce optimised open pit shell,
however, the total unconstrained classified resource stands at 38.6Mt at 1.06g/t Au for 1.3Moz, which
demonstrates potential for continued expansion of the Ternera Gold Deposit (Table 2).

Drilling Program at El Zorro
Outstanding assays received for diamond drill holes including 10.00m @ 3.49g/t Au within 47.00m @ 1.27g/t
Au
In April 2022, Tesoro reported final assay results from its 300-hole (100,235m) diamond drilling campaign at
the Ternera Gold Deposit. Tesoro received assays for five diamond drill holes completed as part of
extensional and infill drilling programs at El Zorro. (ASX Announcement 26 April 2022).
Results returned demonstrate the consistency of gold mineralisation across Ternera, and further expand and
extend existing gold zones. All five holes returned significant intercepts of gold mineralisation and further
expand and extend existing gold zones within Ternera.
Best drill hole results included:
•
ZDDH0295: 10.00m @ 3.49g/t Au from 154.00m; and 19.38m @ 2.77g/t Au from 154.00m;
Contained within 47.00m @ 1.27g/t Au from 153.00m.
•
ZDDH0293: 9.40m @ 2.68g/t Au from 155.60m; contained within 29.20m @ 1.24g/t Au from
137.00m; and 2.53m @ 3.27g/t Au from 267.00m; and 6.95m @ 1.06g/t Au from 398.85m.
Tesoro has now received all assays from resource definition and extensional drilling for the recently
completed >100,000m drilling campaign
•
23 holes have returned >100g/m intercepts.
•
Hole ZDDH0288 being a 486 g/m intercept with 63.93m @ 7.61g/t Au (refer ASX
announcement 30 March 2022).
The Ternera Gold Deposit has been defined by drilling over 1.3km long, up to 750m wide and to over 500m
deep, with gold mineralisation outcropping at surface and remains open in all directions.
The exploration team continues surface mapping and sampling programs delineating district drill targets.
El Zorro Confirmed as a New Chilean Gold District
Subsequent to the end of the quarter (ASX Announcement 4 July 2022), Tesoro announced the identification
of new gold bearing intrusions over 33km, confirming El Zorro as a new Chilean Intrusive Related Gold System
(IRGS) district.
Wide zones of surface gold anomalism analogous to the Ternera Gold Deposit (1.1Moz Au) have been
identified. Compelling new Ternera “lookalike” drill targets have been defined.
Mapping and sampling work is ongoing to further expand and define new targets with drilling to
recommence at Ternera early in the September 2022 quarter.

El Zorro District Mapping Programs
Tesoro holds approximately 600km2 of concessions covering approximately 60km of prospective strike at El
Zorro. Recent work has focussed on expanding the known footprint of the main gold host rocks at El Zorro,
the EZT. The 1.1Moz Ternera Gold Deposit is predominantly hosted within a swarm of EZT dykes. Mapping has
significantly increased the potential for the project to host additional gold mineralisation. Anomalous gold
results have been returned from initial rock chip sampling.
These results and the occurrence of the EZT within a distinctive north-south belt confirm the district scale
potential at El Zorro. Mapping teams are continuing to expand the prospective zones, as well as
commencing follow up sampling activities to determine future drill targets.
El Zorro New Gold Targets
Detailed surface sampling and mapping programs have identified two new high priority targets to the north
of Ternera, the Kitsune and Calderillas targets. Work is ongoing at both targets to better define drill targets,
with drilling aimed to commence during August 2022.

Corporate
Successful Capital Raising
The Company successfully completed a $5.4 million capital raising (before costs) which was settled on 17
June 2022. The Placement comprised of 89,985,003 new Shares at an issue price of $0.06 per Share.
The Company agreed to issue subscribers in the Placement one attaching option exercisable at $0.11 each
and expiring three years from the date of the issue, for every two shares issued pursuant to the Placement.
The attaching options were issued on 7 July 2022 and were subsequently quoted on ASX under code TSOO
on 13 July 2022.
The funds raised will be applied towards continued exploration and expansion of gold resources and
development of El Zorro, general working capital and repayment of a A$200,000 (plus 8% lenders fee)
unsecured director’s loan. As of 30 June 2022 there remained a $398,000 receivable due to the Company
in relation to The Placement.
Shaw and Partners acted as the Lead Manager to the capital raisings.
Change of Company Name
On 2 May 2022, the Company’s name changed from Tesoro Resources Limited to Tesoro Gold Limited
following shareholder approval on 28 April 2022. The Company’s ASX and OTCQB code, being TSO and
TSORF remained the same.
Vesting of Performance Rights
On 23 May 2022, The Company advised that a total of 50,060,000 Class B Performance Rights held by Tesoro
Directors Zeffron Reeves and Geoff McNamara have vested and become capable of exercise into fully paid
ordinary shares in the Company as a result of the updated Mineral Resource Estimate. On 11 July 2022, Messrs
Reeves and McNamara exercised their vested Performance Rights into fully paid ordinary shares.
Payments to Related Parties
As outlined in the Appendix 5B for the quarter ending 30 June 2022 (sections 6.1 and 6.2), during the
quarter approximately $211,253 in payments were made to related parties and/or their associates as
remuneration (inc. superannuation) for the Managing Director, Non-Executive Director fees and
consulting fees.

About Tesoro
Tesoro Gold Limited was established with a strategy of acquiring, exploring,
and developing mining projects in the Coastal Cordillera region of Chile. The
Coastal Cordillera region is host to multiple world class copper and gold mines,
has well established infrastructure, service providers and an experienced
