Our Executive Director – Mining & Development, Linton Putland, recently presented at the Denver Gold Group Mining Forum Americas 2026, providing an update on the advancement of Tesoro Gold’s El Zorro Gold Project in Chile.

Linton discussed the recently declared 1.28Moz maiden Ore Reserve at Ternera, which underpins a defined single open pit development pathway, as well as the work underway to progress the Project towards development.

The presentation covers the DFS, permitting, project financing and other development readiness workstreams progressing towards a targeted Final Investment Decision in Q1 2027, with first gold production targeted for late 2029.

Linton also provides an overview of the broader exploration potential at El Zorro, including near-mine opportunities around Ternera and priority targets such as La Brea and Pena Blanca, as Tesoro continues to build on the Project’s existing resource and development base.
